It’s Day Three. Which just might be the last hurrah for the locals.

Go grab a beer out there before things get too crazy this weekend. Here’s what to watch for on Wednesday.

Falling Rock Tap House is located at: 1919 Blake St, Denver, CO 80202.

This bus tour will pick you up near the Convention Center and take you up to visit 4 breweries in Denver’s NW corridor. Stops are planned for Odyssey Beerwerks, Big Choice Brewing, Front Range Brewing and Odd13 Brewing. Tickets are $35, which covers transportation and a mexican lunch buffet from Lunada. *Beer is not included, but the breweries will offer discounts along the way.   • Special Tappings, Dry Dock Brewing – South, Aurora, CO, 11 AM

Dry Dock’s got special beers lined up to be tapped every day at 11 AM. On Wednesday, look for 2013 Bligh’s Barleywine and Ambassador Sour. Don’t miss this delicious duo. Dry Dock Brewing is located at: 15120 E Hampden Ave, Aurora, CO 80014

The Oskar Blues Ordeal is back for 2014. Come out for a full day of touring, tasting and fun, led by the OB team. Your day conveniently begins and ends at Falling Rock Tap House.

Here’s the schedule:

11:00 a.m. – Pick up at the Falling Rock Tap House.
12:00 p.m. – 1st Stop! Pay a visit to CHUBurger, Oskar Blues’ craft-casual burger joint, for a tasty Ten FIDY handshake.
12:40 p.m. – 2nd Stop! We’re serving up a Cajun-style lunch and picking up the tab for (1) Oskar Blues brew at our Home Made Liquids & Solids restaurant!
2:00 p.m. – Check out where all of the “other” magic happens and enjoy an ice cold root beer at our REEB Cycles fabrication shop and B. Stiff & Sons Root Beer brewery & cannery.
2:30 p.m. – 3rd Stop! Time to hit the mothership! We’re picking up the tab in the Tasty Weasel tap room for (1) Oskar Blues beer (be sure to check out our selection of specialties and try some tasters!) and showing you around the Oskar Blues Brewery. Mix and mingle with the OB crew that helps put the “RAD” in coloRADo craft beer.
4:00 p.m. – 4th Stop! We’re drinking a REEB Rye’d IPA or a Vienna Lager—the house beers at our newest location and home of the REEB Cycles retails shop, the CyclHOPS Bike CANtina.
5:00 p.m. – 5th Stop! It’s farm time! We’re hitting up the Hops & Heifers Farm for a good ol’ fashioned barn burner and pig roast. Enjoy live music, a bon fire, plenty of food, specialty brews, and ridiculously awesome views of the Boulder Flatirons!
8:00 p.m. – The party’s over, folks. Hop back on the bus and we’ll drop you back off at the Falling Rock Tap House!

Crooked Stave Artisans will take over the taps at Hops & Pie on Wednesday, beginning at 11:30 AM.

Come out and enjoy the best pie’s in Denver, while sipping beers from breweries like Crooked Stave, Perennial, Almanac, Prairie, Jester King, Evil Twin and more. Hops & Pie is located at: 3920 Tennyson St, Denver, CO.

Crooked Stave has special tappings scheduled every day during GABF Week. On Wednesday, cruise by The Source to try Port Nightmare on Brett. Tapping at noon. Crooked Stave at The Source is located at: 3350 Brighton Blvd, Denver, CO. 

  • Tap Takeover, Grand Hyatt Denver Downtown, 1 – 5 PM

Denver’s Grand Hyatt is hosting a series of Tap Takeovers throughout the week. Stop by Wednesday and enjoy beers from Kannah Creek Brewing. Grand Hyatt Denver Downtown is located at: 1750 Welton St, Denver, CO 80202.

  • Firkin Tapping, Copper Kettle Brewing Company, 2 PM

Copper Kettle will tap a firkin of Oktoberfest with pumpkin pie spices on Wednesday at 2 PM. They’ll be joined by CKrêpes & CKatering. Copper Kettle is located at: 1338 S Valentia St #100, Denver, CO 80247.

River North will tap 4 versions of their Farmhouse Ale – J. Marie. Look for Classic J. Marie, Wine Barrel J. Marie, Whiskey Barrel J. Marie and J. Marie Barreled & Bretted. All 4 beers will be tapped at 3 PM. River North Brewery is located at: 2401 Blake St #1, Denver, CO.

  • Bourbon Barrel Prim & Porter Bottle Release, Former Future Brewing, 4 PM

Former Future will have their first bottle release on Wednesday. Bourbon Barrel Prim & Porter is a 6.5% ABV beer that was aged for 2 months in a Bourbon Barrel from Law’s Whiskey House (opening in Denver later this year), then blended with Porter. Former Future describes BBA Prim & Porter as a ”wonderfully rich and decadent beer with bourbon on the nose and a full, chocolaty mouthfeel. Like dessert in a bottle.”

12oz. bottles will be sold for $6.50. Bring your own shirt to Former Future during the release and they’ll screen print it for you for FREE. They’ll have a limited number of shirts for sale for $10. Former Future Brewing is located at: 1290 S Broadway, Denver, CO 80210.

Lyons Fork will once again host the Beer Re-Union. 15 breweries have signed on from around the U.S., including Maui, Stone, Fat Heads, Ska, Avery, Oskar Blues and more. Tickets are just $25 for the evening. Lyons Fork is located at: 450 Main St, Lyons, CO 80540.

For those not able to spend a full day on the OB Ordeal, you’re still invited to hit the Hops & Heifers Pig Roast. The OB trolley will pick you up at the Tasty Weasel Tap Room. Here’s the scoop:

Are you a local? Can’t make it to the full-day Ordeal? That’s cool. You’re still invited to our Hops & Heifers Barn Burner & Pig Roast! Catch the Oskar Blues Trolley at outside of the Tasty Weasel Tap Room at 4:30 p.m. and head out to the farm for some live music, a bon fire, plenty of food, specialty brews, and ridiculously awesome views of the Boulder Flatirons! 8:00 p.m. – The party’s over, folks. Hop back on the trolley and we’ll take you back to the Tasty Weasel Tap Room.

World of Beer will tap more than 30 barrel-aged brews on Wednesday night. For $40, attendees will enjoy unlimited samples and be able to vote for their favorite from breweries around the country. Tickets may be purchased at World of Beer – Cherry Creek, located at: 660 S Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO 80246.

Crooked Stave will release bottles of their delicious Mama Bear’s on Wednesday evening. This one’s a Burgundy Sour aged in Oak Barrels with Cherries.

Bottle sales begin at 5 PM, followed by a draft tapping and toast led by Owner / Founder Chad Yakobson at 6 PM. 375 mL bottles will be sold for $15 each, with a 1-case limit per person. Crooked Stave at The Source is located at: 3350 Brighton Blvd, Denver, CO 80216.

Bruery Terreux, a new offshoot of The Bruery, will launch here in Colorado during GABF Week. Terreux will focus on traditional, wild and barrel-aged beers and on Wednesday night, they’ll be sharing beers and answering questions about their new endeavor.

Beers will be paired with small bites from Cart-Driver. Tickets are available in advance for just $25, or $30 at the door. Look for:

Firestone Walker will take over The Source on Wednesday night. Meet FW Proprietor David Walker and Barrelworks’ Master Blender Jim Crooks as they offer a variety of FW / Barrelworks brews throughout the European-style market.

Rino Yacht Club will be featuring Lil’ Opal, Agrestic, Sucaba & Unfiltered DBA.
Acorn Restaurant will be featuring Velvet Merkin & Pivo Pils.
Comida Restaurant will be featuring Union Jack & DBA.
Crooked Stave will be featuring a special Firestone Walker/Crooked Stave collaboration beer!

The Kitchen will host the 2nd Annual Young Guns Dinner during GABF Week. Where else would you be able to enjoy an incredible night of beers and food featuring Crooked Stave, Almanac, Cigar City, Jester King and Prairie!

The Kitchen will pair the beers with a 5-course, family style meal. Don’t miss this one. Tickets are $130 each. The Kitchen is located at: 1530 16th St, Denver, CO 80202.

Surly and Cigar City will take over the taps at Star Bar on Wednesday night. More details to come. Star Bar is located at: 2137 Larimer St, Denver, CO 80205.

Renegade Brewing and Sexpot Comedy present a night of craft beer and comedy on Wednesday. Tickets are $40, which includes unlimited samples from 6-8 PM, plus 3 full pours once the show starts at 8 PM.

10 breweries will be on-hand, including Brooklyn, Epic, Renegade and Ommegang. Live comedy from Andy Juett, Adam Cayton-Holland and Nikki Glasser will begin at 8 PM. The Oriental Theater is located at: 4335 W 44th Ave, Denver, CO, 80212.

  • Trinity Tappings, Backcountry Pizza & Tap House, Boulder, CO, 6 PM

Backcountry Pizza will share all of Trinity’s Red Swingline beers on Wednesday. Stop by and sample the entire series. Backcountry Pizza & Tap House is located at: 2319 Arapahoe Ave, Boulder, CO.

Crooked Stave will host a special series of collaboration tappings every evening during GABF Week. On Wednesday, head to The Source to try beers from Greenbench. Tapping at 6:30 PM. Crooked Stave at The Source is located at: 3350 Brighton Blvd, Denver, CO.

Upslope will drop into Freshcraft on Wednesday night to share some rare and interesting brews. Look for:

Good ol’ Marty Jones is at it again. This year, he’s sharing The Brew Night Show with the GABF crowd. I’m not going to give away any of the shenanigan’s Marty’s bound to bring, but if you like to laugh, dig a good jam and love good beer, this is the place to be on Wednesday night. Tickets are just $20. Look for special tappings from Green Flash, Odell, Crazy Mountain, Wasatch, Squatters and Dude’s Brews. Pssst, your admission price includes a free year’s subscription to Draft Magazine. In other words, your ticket pays for itself. The Clocktower Cabaret is located at the 16th St. Mall at Arapahoe.
